To help address their hunger and to better prepare them to learn, the Mountain Lion BackPack Program provides students with backpacks of food every Friday for 35 weeks of the school year. The backpacks contain food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drink for Saturday and Sunday. Our Program is 100% community funded.
Your donation goes directly to assist with purchasing food for the backpacks that are sent home with AASD elementary students in need for 35 weeks during the school year.
$6 feeds 1 student for 1 weekend & $210 feeds 1 student for 1 school year!
